August 1 - September 20.

the 82nd Annual Juried Exhibition of the Hudson Valley Art Association.

Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony: Friday September 26.
The exhibit runs September 20 - 26, 2014.

A rainy Fourth of July makes for a great day to paint. I took the reference image last summer in Detroit, the peaches were from the fabulous Royal Oak Farmer's Market. Now if feels like summer.

Just received notice that my pastel "Bushel of Tears" has been accepted into the Pastel Society of America's 42nd National Juried Show, Enduring Brilliance, to be held at the National Arts Club in NYC Sept 2- 27 in NYC. So happy to have this painting hanging with some of the best work in the pastel world.
