Satanic Eggs 11.5 x 15.25 pastel SOLD
I took this image in March 2013, from an artists reception at The Donald Gallery, South Presbyterian Church. I have always had a soft spot for this painting, maybe it's the "chicken sitter" in me. It is now in the home of dear friends in Hastings-on-Hudson—once one of my steady chicken sitting gigs.
On another note, I have signed up for another 30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge for September! It is my busiest month in a while, but I decided to go for it. I already know I am going to have to "double dip" and paint a few a day to cover some time I will be out of the studio.
Where will I be, you ask? Two openings in NYC— Pastel Society of America 42nd Annual Enduring Brilliance at the National Arts Club, and Hudson Valley Art Association 82nd Annual Juried Exhibition at Salmagundi. Details to come soon.
