Packed and ready to go to Vernon, CT. I have gotten my first award — at Academic Artists! I am meeting my childhood friend Deb Lazar (www.deborahlazar.com) and she will take these paintings on to VT for the Strolling of the Heifers:
The fifth annual Strolling of the Heifers Slow Living Summit will take place in Brattleboro, Vermont on June 3-5 and will be focused on farms, food and food systems. Subtitled “Food, Mindfully,” the Summit will explore “the journey of food”, with topics including nourishment and wellness, food entrepreneurship, food systems, food justice and food policy.
Art will hang for a month at the River Garden, then move to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital for the rest of 2015.
