Moon came to us from an upstate barn over 18 years ago, and
passed away last night. She was all barn kitten, all the way to the end. She
would administer pin-prick bites to us regularly to show affection – and to
show us precisely who was in charge. She was truly beautiful; some sort of Maine
Coon and, well, barn. Affectionate when it counted. Demanding when warranted.
Grateful – really – a grateful cat. We shall miss her. We are now empty nesters
for the fist time in our twenty years together. It’s quiet. Really quiet.

2015 RiverArts Studio Tour
2015 River Arts Studio Tour SOLD
We had glorious weather for the River Arts Studio Tour on April 25/26. Many friends visited and I met new people. Above is a collage of the paintings that sold. I am extremely happy, and all these paintings still live in the rivertowns.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by and hope to see you next year.

Got Art?
Packed and ready to go to Vernon, CT. I have gotten my first award — at Academic Artists! I am meeting my childhood friend Deb Lazar (www.deborahlazar.com) and she will take these paintings on to VT for the Strolling of the Heifers:
The fifth annual Strolling of the Heifers Slow Living Summit will take place in Brattleboro, Vermont on June 3-5 and will be focused on farms, food and food systems. Subtitled “Food, Mindfully,” the Summit will explore “the journey of food”, with topics including nourishment and wellness, food entrepreneurship, food systems, food justice and food policy.
Art will hang for a month at the River Garden, then move to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital for the rest of 2015.
