Salmon Scalloped 6 x 6 pastel
Day 17 — I was trying to find the name of this china pattern with no luck. I did spend way too much time reading about the difference between porcelain, fine china and bone china. Quite interesting— bone china is 30% ground up bones (cattle).
And then I found this:
Charles Krafft's Villa Delirium Delft Works produces porcelain family memorabilia from human ashes.
His motto? "Ashes to ashes, dust to delft".
P.S. The background on this painting is a soft periwinkle, NOT swimming pool blue. No amount of futzing in Photoshop will get me the correct color.

I love the painting and am blown away by your research! Whatever the the background is in real life, the color in the photo rocks also.
ReplyDeleteThanks Susan. This one was hard. And thanks for the "Share" on FB.
DeleteChris,
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful pastel! Your colors are gorgeous. Do you use a particular brand?
